21 East Broad was built in 1899 as a one-story, one-side building built in 1899, and expanded to two stories and two sides by 1927. It hosted meat market, bakery, and grocery stores through the 1940s. It was then used by Ray and Ruth Cox for a luncheonette and antiques from 1950, and a barber shop through the 1990s. It was later used for florists and bait & tackle, and most recently has been occupied by multiple restaurants.
