Presentation on the Hopewell Quarry Swim Club, west of Hopewell Borough, which was once the site of a rock quarry that operated from the 1890s to around 1920, making crushed stone for local roads. After the quarrying ended and the pit filled in with water, the site evolved from a local swimming hole into the swim club that we know today.
