Hopewell Harvest Fair – 2025
The Hopewell Harvest Fair – 2025 was the 37th Annual, held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Hopewell Elementary School.
This volunteer community event has been providing fun and entertainment for Hopewell Valley families and friends since 1987.
Hopewell Fairs and Carnivals go back to the Fire Department Carnivals beginning in 1911, the Legion Carnivals in the 1960s and 1970s, and the Hopewell Community Day event held from 1974 through 1985.
We have a complete collection of the Harvest Fair Almanacs from 1987 to 2025, plus some pamphlets from the earlier Community Day in the 1980s.
Hopewell Elementary School History at the Harvest Fair
2026 is the 100th anniversary of the Hopewell Elementary School (HES), which was first opened in 1926. As part of the celebration of the upcoming centennial, the Elementary School was at the Hopewell Harvest Fair, sharing historic photos and artifacts and hosting tours of the building.

Also on display at the Harvest Fair were five poster sets with historic photos that illustrate the progression of schools in Hopewell Borough during the 1800s and 1900s, including the four grammar schools and the original high school.
